Strategy

This is the strategy section. Most of these methods have been tested by me but some are famous but I haven't tried.(Like the Mew trick). Anyway, hope you find this section helpful!

Getting Unlimited of Any Item

This trick requires you to know fly and surf. First fly to Viridian City. Find that annoying old man that offers to help you catch a Pokemon. Say yes and he will capture a Weedle. After that, fly to Cinnabar Island. At the right side of the island, next to Blaine's Gym, there is a coast and you will notice that it looks like a piece of tape on the side. It will be half-land, half-water. Anyway, go there and surf up and down, never leaving the island. If you did this trick correctly, you will soon fight a Pokemon called "M". Beat it in a battle and your sixth item will be an infinite quantity. If you keep on surfing, you can fight a Level 187 Nidorino!

Getting Mew

I'm not sure if this trick works because I haven't tried it yet but I will still post it here anyway. Feel free to e-mail me if you have tried this trick. Anyway, to get Mew, first go to the SS Anne and get the CUT HM. Then just fight someone and faint on purpose.(Misty would love to see that!) Don't go back in the SS Anne. Continue with the game until you get the Surf and Strength HM. Then come back to the SS Anne. Don't actually go inside. First walk past the guard and go past the screen. Then where it shows the SS Anne right in front of you, you execute the trick. Use the Surf HM and get into the water. Surf around the ship and get to the back of it. There should be a platform with a rock or a truck on it. Use the Strength on the rock/truck and there will be a pokeball. Inside is Mew!
